In case you thought being a skinny ***** was all it was cracked up to be....
It's weird... my thighs only rubbed together for a few months when I hit my highest weight right before I started the pre-op diet. I have these weirdly thin chicken legs. I have lost some on my thighs still so they are droopy and I'd love to find tight enough shorts to hold them still, but my legs are SO much weirdly thinner than my stomach still. If I get them tight enough for my legs, I can't pull them up over my waist! LOL! Oh, the problems we have!

When I was fat, I wore compression shorts/spanx under my skirts and dresses to prevent chub rub. and now that I'm less fat, I gotta do the same cuz there's TOO MUCH SKIN.
Whatever. It's a small price to pay. :) at least I no longer burn out my pants and jeans...so I suppose that's a win!

Oh my gosh, y'all are cracking me up so much that my incisions are hurting! I've never heard the phrase "chub rub" but it sure is a perfect description. I haven't tried running in years- maybe as the pounds drop it'll be do-able again. I'm thinking of doing one of the couch-to-5-k programs as a starting place.
Alison, Courtney and Slim,

I have always had big legs.... let me tell ya... when I wear a dress, which I seldom do because of the chub rub...but by the end of the day, i could light a boy scout camp fire with all the friction goin on... It's awful and I don't see it getting any better. I have my grandmother's shape/build (hour-glass) and hers were big her whole life..
