Weekly Challenge - what's your goal

My goal for the week is to get my head back in the game. Yesterday was my 46th birthday, and I 
didnt behave like I should have. I am 9lbs to goal, and I really need to get there. So, the carb monster needs to watch his back, because I'm fighting back!!!

I sucked last week, practically forgetting what goals I set to make. I feel a lot better about this week so I really want to stick to my goals.

1) Track every teeny bitty thing I put in my mouth & not go over 800 calories or 30 grams of carbs. This also means staying accountable when listing what I eat on the daily thread, "Whatcha Eating Today VSGers". If my meals change from what I listed, I promise to update my post for that day. Maybe no one cares but I do & I want to stay accountable for my actions this week.
2) At least 3 days of cardio along with walking at least 30 minutes every day

I care - and I'll hold you accountable!   If I dont get an accurate report, I'll make us do the crazy downhill hike!

Gurl, I woke up this morning and remembered we didnt hike this weekend.  I'm sad!!!!  I need a good "kick in the ass" hike with you!!!  It's actually a reward for me!!!  hahaha!!!
Actually, isn't it funy that the steep downward hike is way worse than the steep upward hike???  CrAzY!!!!

I love you Alison for everything!!!!  ;-)

I like this post!

My goal is to run 5+ miles 3 times this week. I usually do more but I added some weight lifting and need to let my quads heal up a bit.
I'm going to do my weight lifting 3 times this week.
I am not going to eat carby junk.
I'm up two lbs so I'm going to take it off by Friday.

If you havent tried foam rolling, you should try it!  Even 10-15 minutes of stretching and foam rolling makes a big difference in my recovery time after a run.

Yes!!! My trainer introduced me to foam rolling and it really, really helps to loosen and free knots that are in the muscles, plus it helps to increase the blood flow to the muscles and helps to keep them flexible. It is like getting a massage, but without the cost. I also foam roll before working out, which helps to get blood flow into the muscles.

 I just need some freaking coordination because I can't really get my IT band. Lol. It's the best of the worst pain I've ever felt.
