A little disappointed in myself
I think this is the most important part of your post:
"Even though I'm irritated with myself and my WL for the last month, I feel great physically and mentally right now. I'm working out a lot, loving my body and what it allows me to do, and pursuing my goal of completing a half marathon (with lovely Ms Shell!!!) in October. My fitness goals are more important to me than weight loss at this point, so I shouldn't be whining...but I am."
Well, except for the last part of that last sentence, lol.
It shows a change in focus, and I think a good one. At some point, we have to stop focusing on "skinny" and be sure we're focusing on healthy. Can you be healthy at your weight, absolutely. And ultimately, that's what matters. I may never ever fit into a size 6 dress, and I'm ok with that. What matters is that I'm healthy enough to enjoy the rest of the time I'm blessed with.
You're able to enjoy your life, your health and your activity level, it sounds like you're doing perfectly to me.
I see so many posts here that are only concerned with the scale, but very few that are concerned with health and life quality. Even if I never ever get to my goal weight, if I can get healthy, then I'm content. I think so many of us have been big for so long, that we focus on "being small" rather than on being healthy.
You've accomplished an amazing amount in the past year, pat yourself on the back for that. Don't discount how far you've come, you do yourself a huge injustice when you do.
And then, go for a run, and remember when you couldn't. The last few pounds will come off, it just might take a little longer.

Just from reading some of your posts here it sounds to me like you have more than earned the chance to whine. You work so hard, and stay so active, and are always so supportive of others here that you really inspire us newbies. The three months until your plastics probably can't pass quickly enough. Hang in there, though- you are doing so awesome!
You have done such an amazing job. At this point don't even look at the # on the scale. You said you feel great physically and you are healthy that is what matters at this point. 3 months will pass before you know it, but until then just stick to what you know and you'll do great.
You are an inspiration to many of us here so keep your head up and just look at how far you have come.

First, you have done awesome. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
Second, if after the surgery you are content with your body then...it's your body. As long as the motivation is genuinely "this is good" rather than just "I don't want to try any more" then go for it.
Do you have any estimate on how much you'll lose in excess skin? Never know, it might get you pretty close to goal right there.
A very wise woman once told me that you can't control the scale - you can control your behavior, but never the scale. Maybe look at those logs and focus on what you CAN control, let what you can't control go a little?
Final thing: You rock. I mean you are absolutely full of awesome.

You have done an amazing job!
You have worked super hard and are an inspiration to us all!
I hope you relish what you you have accomplished instead of focus on what is not yet unfolded. Not to sound too churchy but I love the saying "This is a day the lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it". It's sort of my new moto. I just try to rejoice and be glad in it, whatever it is. Life is good. You have done an amazing thing in your life. I say rejoice and be glad in it. You can't make 3 months from now be today, and today is a great day in it's own right. You are thin and you are healthy.
Embrace today and let tomorrow be tomorrow. That's my two cents anyway:)

I look forward to reading your posts and consider you a huge inspiration. I think getting on the other side of the plastics will put you in such a better mental place.
I would focus on destressing in whatever way (besides special K chips) you can :)
It will all come together then
I was a wreck the year it took me to prep for my sleeve surgery.
You will make it, no matter what it is. You have a ton of support here.

I get it. It's a hard place to be. You know what to do and when you're ready, you'll get back to it. You're a pretty tall person, right? So........You're within a healthy weight range, you're physically fit, you feel good.
It's your head messing with you. Mine is messing with me, too, right now. Let's be F'ing messed up together! Big hug!
