Doing good with keeping up with the house cleaning,  not so good with only weighing in on Fridays I cheated and weighted yesterday I feel like if I don't weigh once a day then I won't stay on track for some reason idk it's silly.  And I am so ready for our family camping trip this weekend will let you know on Monday if I was able to keep up with the family with my new bike.  Oh and have all my meals already planed out and bought and portioned out for the weekend camping.

Great job yesterday!

Jeez, I actually had to find my goals for the week:

*log in food at least 4X per week. I've done 2 so far.  At least 2 to go.  I'm determined to do today. I do have a smart phone. I actually forgot that MFP is on my phone. I put it there for my vacation a couple of weeks ago. So why haven't I used it since being home?...duh moment of the month!

*get the grazing under control. I'm much better at work. I stopped the work grazing. Not easy because the urge does hit.  I have to work on late night at home- between 10pm and midnight. Quite frankly, if I went to bed on time (last week's goal that I failed at), this would be resolved. Since work grazing is so much better, I will focus the rest of the week on combining grazing with going to bed on time.  This will also make workouts in the morning easier.

Im really struggling with this night time BS too. I normally workout after work so that Im not getting home until 7ish and then I eat dinner and what not...not too many hours available to stuff my face. But now that im running in the mornings, I get home around 5-6, and I just want to eat all night, so UGHHH damnit.

I cant run after work because it's 110 degrees outside.  Sooo....maybe I need some other activity to get me out of the house. We need to come up with a strategy to fix this!!  I know that going to bed around 9 will solve most of my problem...so thats what ive been trying to do.

Today will be my 4th day in a row of logging into myfitness pal to track food...I'm trying to ingraine in my brain that this is good and useful and mandatory.

Have lost 1 lb so far this week, so I don't think the 5 lb thing will happen before Sunday, but I start liquids on Monday, so I imagine I should lose some weight once I start that...

 Trust me - I've logged every bite for 400+ days and been tracking for over 2yrs. It's at the top of my list of reasons why I've been as succesful as I have. Now I get anxiety if
I can't track lol.

Well, I think I have slowed down on the pistachios. They are gone and I will not buy them again for awhile.

My cardio hasn't increased, so I will do cardio tonight. I am very consistent with weight training, since meeting with a trainer helps with that.

My new motto: "Just Do It." Thank you Nike.


BTW, food tracking is THE main reason for my success in maintaining my weight within 2-3 lbs. I also feel anxious, if I can't do it, for whatever reason. It works for me and keeps me from eating mindlessly. Even when I eat more nuts than I am supposed to, I always weigh and log them.

**** it's THURSDAY already!!!

1.  Completing Week 1 = Today is 3 miles (going to gym after work), Tomorrow will be Cross Train = Meeting Personal Trainer at 12pm, Saturday will be 5 Miles = Have it mapped out around my neighborhood
2.  Mindful eating = For the most part on point.  I have edema issues when eating corn so one would THINK I would have said no when offered baby corn yesterday, yeah one WOULD but I didn't so I was UP 3lbs today.  Luckily I KNOW it's water weight, but still.  I have eaten what I said I was going to eat with the exception of the corn and ONE m&m.
3.  My jobs picnic is Saturday = Bought some Black Forest Ham, Cream Cheese, Pickles and Lettuce will be making me some rolls lettuce wrap thingies.  Also bought a chicken so will be making chicken salad and stuffing this mini peppers I get from Costco.  Lastly will be bring a jug of crystal light, in case I need to NOT drink forbidden alcohol.
4.  I have hit my 6K all day this week!!

I thought this week was only 4 miles? Are you just doing an extra mile for the heck of it? I cant even imagine surviving 4 miles right now.

Im using the the chart thing I made to keep track and log all my workouts so I can look back and see my progress - kind of cool.
