Weekly Challenge - mid week check in

 Happy Thursday -

I hope most of you remember what your goals were from Monday :)

I set out this week to STOP picking at things and putting them in my mouth without weighing/measuring them. So far I only had a part of a cookie that I shouldnt have had, and maybe a bite of cheese while I was cooking, but that's pretty good compared to what I was doing last week!

I avoided a death trap of red velvet cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies yesterday - regardless of how this week ends, I consider this week a success already!!

How is everyone else doing?

I love this...I really need to stay with my goals...which were drinking the water and exercising at the gym 4 times a week.  so far...

I have been to the gym 3 times and still have 2 more days so good there.

Been better with my water but not good enough...so thanks for the reminder!

Hmm, my first goal was to rock my interview on Monday. I guess I did, because I have a second interview scheduled for an hour from now. I'll need some serious luck because it's now between one of my coworkers and I, and she's really great.

Second goal was to get some answers about my knee. Doc thinks it's a minor sprain with some serious fluid in there. Rest and ice until the pain and swelling go away.

3rd goal was to not work any extra shift this weekend, needing to learn how to say no. So far so good.

4th was continued from last week, to do something nice and fun for myself. I've scheduled a shopping trip for Friday. First time shopping since surgery, we'll see how it goes I guess.

My  knee is all screwed up too - it's not bad on the pain level, but its just a nagging dull ache all the time, and both of my knees feel swollen when I wake up. Usually motrin helps with that but not the pain.   I dont want to go to the doctor though :((((

Ugh, turns out my boss's boss made a mistake and my second interview isn't until tomorrow. I don't have any more interview clothes that fit, so I may have to go shopping tonight instead

Congrats on avoiding death by chocolate!  Which reminds me -- I have to burn my Death by Triple Chocolate Brownie recipe

BTW acbrown -- you are a MAJOR inspiration to me -- weight loss for sure, but your courage to put it out there and be real -- you're a very strong woman and I applaud you. 

Goal for gym -- been 2 times, scheduled another workout for tomorrow - fingers crossed!

Goal to get 3 miles in under 18 minutes on recumbent bike -- not yet -- Beach Boys got me there in 18.5, same as the Beatles.  Will try another group tomorrow.........sigh

Goal to stop obsessing over no loss in SIX FREAKIN' days -- DONE!!!  Lost 1 sad pound, but better than nothing.  Have canceled the hit man for "contract" on my scale!

Goal to continue weighing and measuring foods and get in protein and fluids -- still doing it, so success, I think!

Goal to get courage up to try on my only pair of jeans....what can I say?  I'm a coward -- not yet

Can he come and abduct mine also?? It doesn't like me at all and hasn't for several weeks - thinking about trading it in for a newer model! LOL

*goal was to run 3 times this week.... only on 2 so far but Im going this evening....

*goal- eat on schedule... Ehhh not too bad, with better preparedness this should be better next week
