Weekly Challenge - mid-week check in
I did awesome on Monday, but I was starting to feel crappy, by Tuesday morning I woke up with a full blown cold. ICK!!
I have done pretty good on keeping my carbs low, other than the orange juice my boyfriend demanded I drink. I am still sick, it's moved in to my chest now. ARGH. So, needless to say, I have not made my exercise goals this week.

Monday I wasn't able to get on OH due to traveling for work, however I did set a challenge for myself for the week.
I was going to be more mindful of what I eat, stopping when I feel satisfied, instead of eating all the food I have measured out or taking that one more bite of something that tastes yummy.
How have I done - fair. Sometimes I forgot about it , esp when eating out, I seemed to have to have that famous "1 more bite". Let's say there is room for improvement but I'm certainly doing better then I would have in the past.

My goal this week:
1. Focus on water between meals and really get it done
2. Eat dense protein, no nuts or cheese
3. Try and keep cals close to 800, and carbs close to 30
I am not at the numbers I want to be at everyday for #3, but #'s 1 &2 are so far so good!

Ugh, I'm not doing very well at all.
I've gone to the gym but haven't tried anything aside from the elliptical.
I called the personal trainer but she never called me back, I need to try calling her again tomorrow.
My goal about not taking work home with me, not going well at all. On the bright side I do have an interview for a promotion on Monday. I'm pretty sure I won't get it for various reasons, but I did just get a promotion in November so I shouldn't really complain.
I haven't done anything nice for myself really. I've accepted a couple of overtime shifts telling myself that it'll feel easier to go shopping with the extra dough, but I'm not sure I'm really going to do that.
