Weekly Challenge - mid-week check in
I'm happy that a lot of people posted Monday for a challenge for the week. If people are interested, I'll post a thread every week.
Now that it's Thursday, I'd like to know how it's going - what's working, what's difficult, what's the biggest obstacle for you in reaching your goal.
I set out this week to reduce my portion sizes a little. Sunday I managed to pack my containers with 2oz meat instead of my normal 3-3.5 and so that worked out well, and Ive found that 2oz is just as satisfying as 3.5 physically (mentally I'd like about 8oz haha). Ive been eating more frequently because I'm getting less calories in with smaller portions which may or may not be a good thing. This week just has other issues, but I'll save that for another day :)

mine was to plan meals and pack lunch for work...
not doing well...I DID however pack my breakfast and purchsed instant oatmeal to leave in my desk whereas I normally swing across the street to Chick-Fil-A....
I have apps on my phone to remind me to take vits, supps, etc.... because I had trouble with the spacing & remembering ya cant take this with that, etc.... I now need to add in reminders to eat..

Yeah post weekly and ummm maybe provide a link to the Monday post so we can "remind" ourselves our goals, lol, yeah I just went back and looked at mine so here they are:
Mon-Fri
1. Go to the gym M = 3.1mi, W = 3.1mi, F = 2 hours
2. Pack my lunch for the week = Salads & Salmon
3. Prepare my mind for the weekends which are my hardest times
When I check in on Thursday I will have a Sat & Sun plan

While it wasn't a goal I have stayed under my calories. I logged everything into MFP. I went to
1. I went to the gym on Monday, would have gone yesterday but had a bad acid attack so I'm going tonight and Fridya
2. I packed my lunch and have been enjoying my Salad all week.
3. Sat = I have decided to NOT go to my friends outting. I have determined that right now I am IN RECOVERY.
Sun = Hiking with my friend Alison, which I need to get where I'm meeting her together!!

Can you do an early Saturday hike? Like 7 am early? I might be able to do Sunday afternoon but I don't know what time my mom is leaving (she's visiting for the weekend)

I wanna join in the fun hike & finally meet you Ms Shell. I swear I was so sad that you didn't show up to the last meet up. I can do Saturday morning @ 7. The earlier the better.
