"skinny ass" NSV

Today at work, while talking with a co-worker, another friend/co-worker walked by & said simply, "skinny ass" & I looked around to see who she was talking to & when I looked at her she said , yep... you & started giggling. I was so surprised, confused & excited I just stood there..... duh like. I emailed her a bit later & thanked her for the compliment.

I never in my WHOLE life have thought of myself as "skinny" & am not yet at that place now, however it really felt good to know others are seeing it. It's like her saying that made real that, yeah I could be skinny. I felt a bit self conscience this morning when I left for work cause I dressed up a bit & have a more fitted shirt on that doesn't hang to cover anything, even my belt shows. So hearing that made me more comfortable. I have always been concerned about hiding behind bulky clothes or I would wear guy cuts to not show any part of my figure, so today was a win win! I stepped outside of my comfort zone & was rewarded with a compliment.
