"Where are they now" ... 4 year 8 month VSGer
What a great post. Thank you.
I noticed not long ago that I was starting to forget what it felt like to be almost 300lbs, and it's only been 18 months. I wrote earlier today that I think one of the reasons regain creeps in at 3-6 years post-op is that the memory of the emotional and physical pain that come with being MO or SMO that motivate us so much early on fade over time while the reality of maintenance is with us forever.
Thank you for your blunt informative post
I am having some of the same issues you are with food. Yes I have restriction but it is very possibel to eat a dozen cookies just not all at once.
I am a sugger addicts I think and I know I can keep loosing if I just cut it out but like you said so well it is really really HARD to do. If it was easy we would have never got to our heavest weights.
God bless you and keep up the fight.
Ms Shell, you have said everything that's been rattling around in my (thick) head! Thank you for always being so honest and 100% real!!! I know for myself, one bite = the whole thing **** cream, chips, cookies, etc)...abstaining is my moderation. You have a fantastic plan and I know you're gonna do fantastic!
Glad you're back :)
