Exercise- Walk 1.2 Miles after Work...
Yesterday I cut 3 Lawns, Walked Almost 1 Mile and went to walmart lol

Hi there Jen!!!

B: 4.5oz. Plain nonfat Greek yogurt sweetened with CL lemonade
S: ice coffee with SF Almond Rocha syrup
L: "dry" beef rib from Lucille's w/ few bites of peanut slaw (yum!)
S: string cheese
D: good ol' faithful minty.
EDIT: I want to try Alison's yummy discovery tonight... Double Stuffed Cookie protein shake with chocolate PB2.  Sounds too good to pass up!!

Water: 5 cups so far
Vits: on track
Exercise: 20 min. Brisk walking & 45 min. Basic Tae Bo Boot Camp

Jenn...question for you. I noticed that quite a few "veterans" have their food items earlier in the day and do shakes for dinner. Is that better for weight loss and to keep the hungries at bay??? I am just wanting to prepare myself. Thanks and have a great day!!!

Hi there!
I like to drink the protein shake for dinner because I don't get home from wor****il 6:30pm.  This way I can drink it & feel comfortable working out 1-2 hours after.  Plus, I don't always want dense protein for dinner if I had it at lunch.  I'm lucky to have found a couple protein shakes that I love because if it wasn't for my mint shake or my chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry PB2 shake, I probably wouldnt be drinking shakes.  I tend to stick with something for a while until I get sick of it.  I'm not sick of the shakes yet plus, they help me reach my protein goals.  I'm usually below 60 grams of protein without a shake a day.  Some people do a great job reaching their protein goals without shakes.  It's just really my preference.
Now that I am 8 pounds from my original goal I really need to restrict calories to get these last stubborn pounds off BUT who am I kidding.  I actually need to lose 18 because I already know I need to lose more.  I usually don't get hungry after my workout except sometimes I feel mild hunger pangs when I'm already down in bed for the night but by then, it's just too late for me to eat so I'll drink some water.  I'm just trying to really buckle down right now since I wasn't so strict a little while ago.  It's working for me now and this post is helping me stay accountable.

Yum yum yum.

Breakfast: Coffee!
Snack: greek yogurt - black cherry - w vanilla whey 1/2 scoop
Lunch: 3/4 c spinach - 3 strawberries - 5 spicy shrimp 1/10 c almond slivers (YUUUM!)
Snack: Mo' coffee
Dinner: Probably a protein shake tonight. Not sure what I'll build yet. Perhaps a Reeses cup again. Chocolate and PB is always a winner.

Vits: Done - will have to take a calcium later since I haven't had my normal dairy allottment.
Water: 1/2 Done
Exercise: 2 mile run after work.

Do you make your Reese's cup with just plain Choc protein and then add PB2 to it?? If not please let me know that sound good!  I have a Choc Peanut Butter Protein Shake from About Time but It could use a  little more peanut butter flavor lol

B: Mint Cookie shake
B2: hard boiled egg with laughing cow light Swiss
L: shredded buffalo chicken
D: grilled salmon with dill Greek yogurt sauce, possibly a couple slices of cucumber we picked up from the farm this weekend
I have to bring my car to the shop tonight so I hope I'll be home in time to go for my walk AND cook dinner.

water: 8 cups so far
vits: 1 calcium dose left
