YIKES! Give you surgeon a ring and see what he thinks about the hamburger from BK at only 2 weeks. I'm at goal and STILL wont have a hamburger. People here including myself are only looking out for your safety and health. If you think a hamburger and some fries are good for you at this point please suggest seeing a counselor or something...

I can't believe I'm about to write this but...not all fast food is crap. If you're in a pinch for protein, try a gladiator shake from Smoothie King or if you really think a burger is the protein choice you need get it wrapped in lettuce. If you eat the pure protein and leave tzhe carbs so you're sooooo much better off.

That said, you couldn't pay me to step in a burger king, mcdonalds taco bell wtfever. $8900 to save my life (out of my own pocket) just to back slide? Not on my gettin skinny life!

I am 3 years out, and believe me, your capacity increases exponentially after your first year.  I still have restriction IF I don't eat carbs.  But my sleeve is a bottomless pit when it comes to carbs -- there is no signal that says STOP.  You won't have this physical restriction forever.  Use this time to recreate your relationship with food.  Ya know that old saying "If you keep doing what you did, you keep getting what ya got."

This makes me very sad and scared!

I see where u said u have rethought and will get back on plan, but other times it seems like u weren't really given a plan to begin with... pls seek help ASAP!!!

1) get and stick with a specific, detailed plan!!! If ur surgeon can't or won't give u one, there are several manuals from different surgeons online!!!

2) find/talk to a good bariatric nutritionist who has worked with WLS patients... u r very naive as (whether u just haven't been taught or have refused to listen) as to what a "healthy diet" consists of and that is a major key to ur weightloss success!!!

3) I can't fathom why a sugeon would risk their license and livelyhood by giving their patients NO PLAN... that said, i'm sure it does somewhere, unfortunately... If that's the case I feel u need to report him/her and make sure they learn that that is not acceptable! If that's not the case and u just haven't followed plan, u need to seek some type of counseling and find out y... r u so addicted that u CANT give stuff up?; do u just think ur invincable?; did u truely not understand that what u did could very well have killed u?; etc.

If u want to PM me to gether more knowledge and learn about the surgery that u've had, I'd b glad to help as I'm sure many others would! It's just very sad to many of us that ppl would let someone operate on them without having done the research and knowing what they're getting themselves into BEFOREHAND! but it's too late for that now! all we can do is beg u to research now and seek help in getting on a plan and making sure u reach success!!!

Good Luck :-)

This is ALMOST as good as the chick eating Red Hot candies and mini rolos as she boarded her plane home from Mexico 3 days after sleeve surgery. . .

500 calories vs. 1800 caloires YAY the sleeve is effective. Were lobotomies on special that day too?

Ugh, my son was breech until 2 days before they were going to turn him. I know your pain.
