Can you fit it into your calorie and carb limits for the day? Is it OK with your surgeon?

Personally, I avoid drinking calories because I'd rather be able to eat them... but that's just me. If it works for you and doesn't cause a blood sugar spike or carb cravings, and can be fit into your day without derailing your numbers, by all means go for it.

I was going to say it is high in sugar and carbs, but if your drinking that it seems ok, as long as the acid doesnt hurt your tummy. Its only 50 calories per serving right? I dont see any problem with it.

Its best to avoid drinking your calories.  For 50 calories you could have 1.5 ounces of chicken breast or a lite mozzarella cheese stick.  Both would be backed with protein - which you need more than pulp.

Try some Orange tangerine mio in water or Orange Juice flavored Crystal Light.

I don't know about the mio stuff, but orange juice will certainly have more nutrition in it than Crystal Light. If it fits within whatever calorie limits you are working to (and carb limits if you have any) then go for whatever nutrition that you can get. Some are big advocates of the high deficiency diets where everything beyond protein has to come from pills, but eventually you need to learn how to eat responsibly for the long term - no time like the present if it fits within whatever guidelines you are using. Granted, whole fruit oranges or tangerines would be better than just the juice if that's workable.
