"You need to stop losing weight"
I started hearing this when I was still 40 lbs away from my original goal... which is still 10 lbs more than my surgeon's goal for me. Sassy is right when she said people always feel like they should tell you their opinion of your body. I remember having a stranger look into my shopping cart when I was at my heaviest and tell me "At your weight, you know you really should be eating salad not ice cream".... Really rude and none of their business. People like to tell us who, what, where, when, and how we should be. I think its to keep the focus off them. You can't please everybody. Also many of these people are the same ones who will try to push us to eat some junky sugary snack with them so they feel better about themselves. You can only please yourself, you can only make yourself happy... no one else. When someone tells me I'm too skinny I say thank you that's what I was going for.... Smile and walk away....
I got to the point, after hearing it for months, of just saying "When you have M.D. behind your name, 10 years of bariatric surgical experience, and my insurance has paid you to alter my guts, I'll heed your advice and might consider your opinion on my weight valid. Until then, you get zero SAY in when I need to stop losing weight."

I hear what your saying and I've heard it several times in the past month. I have lost weight at such a rapid speed people literally do not recognize me from 2 months ago so to them I look unhealthy when in reality I am healthier, stronger, and happier than I have ever been. They are use to seeing the old us. Its an adjustment period for not only us but our friends and loved ones. I wouldn't worry about it
