I eat 500-800 calories a day depending on my workout for the day. "Note this is for weight loss faze only". I eat lots of lean protein and never the same thing 2 days in a row. I try to change it up everyday. I am incredibly strict on what I eat and weigh or measure EVERYTHING.
As for my workout routine it again varies. I walk 3 miles everday for lunch since I am not hungry and eat small amounts. I get home eat dinner and then get ready for my night excercise routine. It switches between running, strength training, or some type of cardio. I also take a MMA/Jiu Jitsu class 3 times a week which burns crazy calories. On the weekends my wife and kids come with me for a 5-10 mile hike depending on location.
I have pretty much just committed myself to a healthy lifestyle and do the excercises that I enjoy like hiking. I actually even like running now. Find what works for you and the excercises you ENJOY doing or it wont work.
