It's not as sad as you think! lol.  I've lost 99 pounds in total   I used to be 351 pounds.   So yea it's slow but it's going in the right direction.  I try to convince myself my slow loss is because of the pre-op loss of 79 pounds.  I'm not sure.  I've not seen too many that have lost that much pre-op?????  The nutritionist said it was why my loss was slower.  I can lose weight but can't keep it off.  So my hope is the sleeve will help with that.  Oh and also!!! I've lost four sizes since surgery!  I used to wear a size 24 and now I'm in an 18!

Wow, that is terrific about the dress size!!

I lost 60 pounds pre-op...so maybe it is just that things are going much slower because we were already loosing?  I like the idea of blaming it on that!!

Take measurements monthly and don't worry about the small drops in weight. You are in a typical stall.

If your following your doctors plan and tracking your food + exercising then you are doing everything right and the weight will come off. If you are not doing that then get back on track.

When I hit a stalling point, I go back to week 2 or 3 of my post op diet for about a week or so. That usually kick starts the process all over again.

Keep the faith! Stalls are normal, I've had two stalls since my surgery and I just kept on plan because I knew that it was normal. Don't get frustrated, your body is still adjusting to the new you!

Let's put into perspective:

You have lost 33% of your excess weight in just 6 weeks! I surely could have never lost 47lbs in 6 weeks pre-op. Wishing it was more, I can understand, but think, you're already a 1/3 of your way to your GOAL WEIGHT! ! !
