The lesson of the day..
A simple equation:
EFFORT IN=EFFORT OUT
Its a life truth. What you put into something is what you can be expected to get out of it.
As related to your VSG, if you put the effort into following your plan, changing your life, and committing to a healthy lifestyle, you WILL attain it. Your effort will be rewarded.
If you CHOOSE to sit back, wallow in bad habits, and let the sleeve do all the work thinking you don't have to change anything but how much you put into your mouth at a sitting, you are going to pay for it later and will have wasted one of the best opportunities you have ever been given.
The choice is yours, you have been given an awesome tool. Use it how you may!

That is what I keep trying to communicate to my children....the results and enjoyment/rewards you get from something is directly proportional to the effort you put into that whatever it is. My teens don't get it yet. Heck, my employees don't get it! I think the whole world prefers the path of least effort and maximum benefit. On the grander scale of things that is why we are in such a mess economically, ecologically, politically, healthwise and socially. So yeah... The wheel and fire have been around for a long time and we keep trying to reinvent both. Thanks for the post. A reminder of this universal truth is good sometimes.
