I was 400.5 pounds on 1/11/2010, 374 on surgery day 3/1/2010. I reached the 215 pounds lost right about 10/1/2011...19 months after surgery.  I have maintained that weight...up and down a pound or two...for 8 months.  As Frisco eluded to in his post on my pic, I have had a lot of adveristy to overcome through this journey.  A lot of emotional, physical and monetary roadblocks threw their way along my path and I pushed through it all, making the best choices I could within the constraints of unemployment (absolutely no income), temporary disability (15 months), moving cross country twice, and a divorce. It comes down to how bad you want something and how much you are willing to sacrifice and work for it.  I have about 20 more pounds to lose before I have plastics which will put me at goal.  I know this last 20 pounds will not be the easiest part of the journey, but I can say that maintaining like I have for the last 8 months gives me the faith to know that my efforts will be worth it and that I can do it no matter what pops up to derail me.

Best of luck to you in your journey.  May your head always be engaged in the new lifestyle that you have chosen to live by...actually, this is the key...the rest is a piece of cake.  If your head is in the right place, your choices will always be in the ballpark of right and manageble when they aren't exactly stellar choices.

So when will this thread become a sticky post? It needs to stay at the top to prove to people that the sleeve works if you work it.

Heaviest Weight: 330 Goal Weight: 175 Current Weight: 150
"Hit Goal in 3 1/2 Months!!!"
"Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I'M POSSIBLE!!!"
"No one said it was going to be easy, but it will definitely be worth it"
