Nectar Protein

Hi, everyone!  I haven't had surgery yet.  Still in the process of completing my Options program at Kaiser.  They recommended we start trying protein drinks out.  I found out that Syntrax has a special promotion right now for a Variety Sample pack of their Nectar protein drink.  It's only $14 (including tax) for the 14 pack sampler.  It also includes free shipping.  It was such a great deal I thought I'd share!

Awww, shoot!  I just ordered one of these sample packs from a different vendor.  I paid less in product ($13.95), but had to pay for shipping.  I'm doing the same thing as you...trying out different ones so I know what I like before it's not an option anymore.  I'm looking at the Blender Bottle on my desk with Chocolate Truffle flavor in it right now, just waiting for "snack" time to try it!

Let me know how that tastes.  I sure do love chocolate!

I think I put too much water in it...the package says "between 8-16 oz. water", so I dumped a whole 16-oz. bottle of water in there.  It was really thin and the flavor wasn't as strong as I would have expected, but I think it would have been fine if I'd used less water.  I'll try closer to 8 oz. tomorrow when I test out the Double Stuffed Cookie flavor.

I've done that and the Unjury starter pack. It's a little more expensive but you get 2 of each..unflavored, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla and the chicken plus a small rubbermaid container and a thermometor.  I'm testing out as much as I can to see what I like and what I don't.

I'll look up the Unjury as well.  I want to make an informed choice so I'm ready after surgery.

When did you finish he program?  I heard that Southern California has a long wait time.  I hope not!

 I started in December and had my last psych appt on May 11th. I lost the weight needed and am doing my best to keep it off and even lose more. I was told on May 11th that it would be about 3 weeks before I heard from them for scheduling, but that once they call the surgerys are at least 2 months or more out!!!  I have called a few times with the scheduler just to keep my name in there ears and to remind them I want to be on the cancellation list..lol I am going through northern Ca program. My surgery will be in Fremont. I can't stand this LONG wait...
