NSV with PICS!!!

Today I had to clean out my closet and I was able to pack up 2 tall boxes of clothes that are too big for me. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be saying this! Size 24, 26, and 30s ...gone FOREVER!  


 

How awesome for you!!! I can't wait for my day! I'm a newbie still waiting for my date! So this might be a stupid question, but what does NSV stand for?

Once I cleaned, I realized I have a shopping problem!  I've really had to reign it in while in the losing phase!

In my case all of the buttons and zippers have busted on all my clothes pre-op, so at 6 post op weeks  I am able to throw those out . Ia fitting in clothes that I stored in boxes that were too small . Many of them fit me perfect now. My 24's were busting now I can fit 20 and some 18's.
THis is great!

I took seven trash bags full of too-big clothes to the Salvation Army donation center yesterday.  This was the second wave after the six bags I took a couple months ago.  I could have probably filled up a few more bags, but I made enough room in my closet for now.  Yes, I am sort of a clothes horse! But I wasn't sad to see any of it go!!

My friend who is just 1 year post-op is giving me all her clothes that don't fit anymore. This weekend she brought over a bag of nighties that are XL/L. I have never been so excited for hand me downs before.

I look forward to packing up my clothes as well. Congrats on your victory. You are an inspiration.
