Wow Im 9 months out and have not had an instance of nausea or vomiting....... until I ate 2 teaspoonfuls of rice, then I thought I might die. I thought I was ok to eat anything but I was wrong. I had the foamys, I thought that was a myth, but trust me I hurt soo bad, no more rice for me!!! I dont eat bread, but for some reason I thought rice would be a good ideal, not a wise choice. Hope this helps someone not to make my mistake.

I've never had the foamies or the slimies but I know there is a first time for everything. Sorry to hear about your bad rice experience. Hope you are feeling better!!!

The only time I have ever had the foamies (so far) was over a few bites of Special K Protein Plus cereal. It was no fun!

Sorry you had to go through that :/ I hope it's past now! Feel better!

Everyone has a different trigger, and you will only find it by experimenting with a variety of different foods. Mine is my pills. I can't take zinc or the vitamin B12 strips. I foam instantly. Haven't had too many issues with foods yet. I can knock on wood for that, because I know I will hit something eventually.

I have noticed that I have become very taste sensitive to anything salty or sweet. Even my crystal lite water tastes too sweet now, and acidy, especially if I drink it too fast.  Last night I had bbq ribs and asparagus. Both things I had many times with no problem before but this time the acid reflux hit soo hard, that I was almost in tears. I had 5 extra stength tums, and 2 Gaviscon's before the pain subsided enough to relax. Hurt so bad I was tempted to rush to the hospital. Goes to show, you never know what is gonna be the trigger, until it happens. Think it a good idea to get a refill on my Nexium to have for emergencies only.

I know what you mean, I was pacing back and forth on the drive way, and seriously thoght about going to the hospital, but I thought it probally would be over by the time they saw me, so I waited it out. I felt ok in about an hour, but my tummy was sore an irratable for about 2 days, we are ok now, not something I care to repeat. I dont have reflux though Im glad of that, sorry you have that problem, I know that can hurt, but I am sweet sensitive can't handle real sweet things, I dont like crystal light for that reason, I could not come up with the right ratio of water for me, Oh well Id take all of this over carrying the weight any day!
