Okay so I do cleaning jobs PT in addition to my other job.  Yesterday I was doing a cleaning job and was noticing how much water I drink to stay hydrated while cleaning.  I sweat a lot.  Anyone have trouble cleaning or doing heavy excersize after having the sleeve since you can't fit more than 3 oz of water at a time.  This worries me because I probably drink a days alotment of water just to get through a cleaning job.

I have no problem with water intake. Water has never clogged me, only food does. I can drink more than 4 oz at a time. I cannot chug anymore but I can drink at a good pace. You will love the way you feel after the surgery. I am 3 weeks out and feel like I am 25 again. I am 54. Best, Sharon

Glad to hear that I know others on here have complained of have trouble with water.  I can't help but notice the obsese cat in your photo.  Is the cat yours.  My two cats are both obese too.  19 and 22 lbs.   I do not over feed them.  Maybe the need VSG.  lol  :-)

The cat in the pic is not mine. I got her off the internet. I just love her big look. I love cats. I have 3 males who are all giant.  After they get fixed cats tend to plump up. Best, Sharon

Try feeding your cats grain free kibble. cats are carnivores, they eat meat not grains in the wild... carbs like corn and other grains will make them fat just like it does us.

Check the package and if the first 3 ingredients are grain...if so go to a good pet store (not pet smart but a local independent store) and ask for grain free food for them.

My cats eat Evo which has the lowest grain level of any cat food. They love it :) Sharon

mine used to eat EVO..until it was bought out by Mars food or some other big box kibble manufcturer.

Those people make grocery store food and when they buy out an independent company they usually slowly and subtly chnge the formula so it is not the healthy food it once was but is more like the grocery stuff.

Be sure to watch the ingredient label for any subtle changes in formulation.

If my stomach is empty I can easily chug fluids, I drink almost a gallon of water/tea a day.

Oh and remember, that the work is going to get easier and easier as your weight gets lower and you are going to sweat less! At my highest (320) I remember breaking out in a sweat just getting myself out of bed and to the bathroom, doing laundry would cause me to be a mess, but now I have to run a mile before I start to sweat LOL

This!  I've seen a marked improvement in the last 30lbs with this.  I can pretty much keep up with my husband now without sweating or getting out of breath.  I also don't have a problem drinking water.  I did 2-3 weeks out but by week 4 it was no problem to get it all down.  I also don't do the stop 30 min. before a meal because it just goes straight through me but I do have to wait at least 30 min. after a meal or it'll come right back up.
