Update: 10.5 months, 144 pounds, setbacks and fun stuff too

Click under my name for my blog update, but basically I'm doing well. The neck (c-spine fusion AKA ACDF) surgery went well. I guess I didn't really realize what a recovery this was. I'm out of al things besides light walking for probably a year to allow the fusion to "take". It's kind of sucks, but that's okay. I will get through it. Anyway, update on the blog. xoxo to you all and to bekahler who amazingly sent me a big big gift that just... well... made a huge difference in my day/weel/month. I feel loved, extemely loved, because of you woman!

I was just about to post looking to see if anyone had heard from you after the initial post about your surgery.  So glad you you're doing better. Thoughts are with you.

Thanks, it's been a rough road... not one I'd wish on my worst enemy, frankly. But I'm hanging in there!

As difficult as this has been for you, I Just had a thought about how 'lucky' you were to have done this vsg.  Recovery would have probably been so much harder with that extra poundage.

AMEN to that. I've thought about that several times over the past month. NO WAY would I be able to handle this with an extra 144 pounds on my body!
