CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! what an awesome accomplishment.  i was smiling while i read your post because i had a similar realization this morning after walking for over an hour for the first time in a long time. i won't say seeing the scale move isn't important anymore - but it's not the single most important factor in my journey anymore. feeling better, doing more and going further are new sources of motivation and appreciation. :-D

Congrats, Alison! Like everyone else has said, you truly are an inspiration for many of us. I'm getting my ass off the computer now and going to do my morning exercise that I've been putting off for over an hour!!

You kick ass! In so many ways, you inspire me to do better. Neither of us are perfect, but you really have a lot of this stuff figured out. When I looked at the pics Ruggie posted, I almost didn't recognize you because you look so different. Keep rockin' that sleeve!

Dude, I haven't ran 2 steps in like 10 years... I jogged like 3 steps though but that was enough!... so I think you're totally amazing for accomplishing this. Your life has totally transformed :)

You guys are sooo wonderful!!! I think Frisco is right - the greatest part of all of this is that I can inspire other people - I have not had any easy road but I wouldn't have it any other way!!!  There's no words that are sufficient to describe how I feel as I grow and change for the better.  At 420 lbs, I would have never dreamed of doing this - but I am creating my future, and not letting my past dictate what I can/cannot do.

The moral of the story - doesnt matter where we start, if there's a will, there's a way to accomplish ANYTHING.

I love you all!!!!
