You amaze me!  Seriously...wow.  I am thinking about starting the Couch 2 5k program....have you heard about that?

I'm just worried because I haven't done any running since I was about 22.  Don't want to injure myself but I think I would enjoy running.

I never did C25K officially since ive been the most inconsisten runner...but Ruggie did something very similar I believe and he went from 0-amazing in maybe 2 months and just ran a 5K (seriously blows my mind that he could do that...)

Ive been "running" since I was over 300 lbs, and it wasnt comfortable and i certainly didnt do any long distances at that weight, but i never injured myself - I think you'll be okay. If you are game for a little pain now and again, running can be very enjoyable. It's very...freeing.

Hey Alison.....

What you have done is well....

I'm stuck for a word ........because incredible or amazing just doesn't sound strong enough.......

Besides your WL and athletic accomplishments, I think your greatest feat is how you have inspired so many by what you have done..... definitely "Superstar Level"

Congrats and continued success !!!

You are truly amazing! I am happy for you and major congrats!!

I needed to read this as this morning I hopped on the scale and gained a stupid pound. I am on plan and maybe it's just the beginning of another stall, who the hell knows. However, I am choosing to remain positive and focus on other things. For once I refuse to let that one pound define my day!

There are a few people here I wish I knew IRL.  You're definitely one of them!  I may have a good attitude, but I can't hold a candle to you in persistence.  Your committment to becoming the person you want to be is so inspiring.

Thank you for sharing yourself so generously.  You are so right - the scale is not god, the scale is just gives us one piece of data.  The rest of the picture is so much bigger than that.

Did you ever know that you're my hero?  Yes, corny, but it's true!

I am struggling with my training program right now.  I just started my walk/run intervals and my body is not having it :)  I think I CLEARLY heard my right knee yell NO MORE! after I finished on Friday.

You are so active, positive, and determined!  I am working hard and hope to be there too!
