I was quite taken back by the way some people judged you.  This site is
supposed to be supportive, and give you a place to vent and to find friends.
I completely understand what you were trying to relay.  You weren't being
disrespectful to anyone.  We are not here to judge each other or to be
mean.  I am sorry for the way people treated you.  I haven't had my surgery
yet, but truly appreciate the advice, understanding and friendships I have
made here.  I wish you the best of luck on this journey. God Bless you.

I don't think anyone - including myself - on this forum is perfect and have absolutely no business what so ever judging anyone for the journey they take, the mistakes they make and especially what foods they choose to eat... People should learn to NOT THROW STONES IN A GLASS HOUSE!  Way to go standing up for yourself!  Good for you!

I just wanted to say to you that I sincerely apologize for my comments this morning, it was 530am my time and I didn't answer you my normal supportive manner. I didn't mean to start a posting war. I am an emotional eater and have had to deal with a 29lb regain after eating things that were not ideal (cookies, cake, etc.) so I am not perfect by any means. When I read your post, it reminded me of how I would think right before a binge, so I felt compelled to post, even though I now realize I could have done a much better job of communicating. I hardly ever post, I am not a "basher" and I am sorry that I came off that way. I want everyone on here to succeed.

Best Regards,

Heather

Well I was pretty damn supportive in the one this morning which is kinda new for me. *pats self on back*

My only question is if you are just doing you, why did you have to start 3 different threads about your bagel sandwich? Kinda over the top, imo - but maybe that's just you doing you.

Do you want support or just to put it out there?? Just wondering because if you are just putting it out there, I'll just pass on by your posts from now on.

wow! A lot of emotional and negative responses to eating 1/2 of a freaking bagel. If you think 1/2 bagel means you wont be successful then you (meaning the posters - not the bagel eater) are giving that food a LOT of power in your life. Super strict eating plans that eliminate entire classes of food are considered disordered eating. We dont all follow the same journey, but there are many paths to success.

You would think she was posting that she shot up with heroin. Unrealistic expectations (I will never eat blah blah blah again, or I have to lose 20 lbs a month) are what lead many people down the road to failure.

It's not about the food.
