Only 10 Hours Til Surgery!

I can't believe I'm writing this, but it's only 10 hours until my VSG!  I have literally been waiting for this (and actively pursuing it) for over 7 years.  I'm so nervous, but so excited to get on with the rest of my life!  Wish me luck!

 Good Luck, I had mine done on Monday 4-23 so I'm 4 days out, take it slow and sip, sip,sip and walk,walk,walk.... You will need someone at home w you for a couple days til you get the hang of moving around.  Pain is between 3, 4, and 5 at most times each day DOES get easier. make sure you don't skip your pain meds it will creep up on you. good luck If you look on my page at my photos it will show the part the Doc took out the stomach that's gone forever lol keep me posted Jennifer

CONGRADULATIONS on the big day! I know exactly what you mean about waiting for (and pursuing) this for 7 years. I am right there with you, girl. I wish you the absolute best of luck and can't wait to hear your post-op thoughts, as I am scheduled for the 9th of May. Not quite surgery buddies, but it sure feels like we've got a lot in common!
