So far I haven't talked to anyone that liked their hospital. I was at the new Forest Park center and I've talked to people that were at Denton.
I adored Plano Presbyterian when I was there for for my c-section, but I don't personally know of any surgereon's doing VSG there.
My best advice is to have someone to stay with you if at all possible so that you aren't completely at the mercy of the nursing staff.

Our experience at Baylor has been better than at any other hospitals, though mostly it was being there with family members. I had my hysterectomy there and liked it a lot even though I was in a room so old, it has a bathtub instead of a shower! But I felt the night staff in particular was caring and helpful, so I'm hoping the same will happen for my VSG tomorrow. Time will tell.
I was also at Forest Park Medical Center on Central @ Forest. It was the best hospital experience I've ever had. They have a bariatric floor so the nurses are well versed in what we are going through and I found them to be very attentive and kind. I would definitely recommend it.
