Staple Line
the staple device puts two or three lines of staples on each side of your stomach so the part removed is sealed up. the staples are small and fine and look almost like sewing maching stitching. Not sure if the oversewing is to avoid leaks or to make for more tightness or both.
But I would choose my surgeon by experience and success rates and not try to second guess technique as good surgeons vary technique. Get the best you can afford. And follow instructions closely as leaks can be caused by eating inappropriate things. thats why they have the rules they have. gl you will love your sleeve. diane

huh...I have his surgical video on my bougies in VSG blog..
and it looks like double at ~4.5 mark, and "oversewn" looks intermittant not running continuous. Im not sure tho!
Maybe you did get triple row of staples n continuous oversewn...the important point is ya had a TERRIFIC SURGEON, and are rockin your sleeve!!
