1 Year Surgiversery - Back to the Hospital for another One (PICS)

Bless your heart! I wish you only the best and greatest results with the upcoming surgery. Hopefully, your new surgeon with fix the problem and you'll be on the road to actually eating again.

I have a good friend that has been tube feeding now for two years. She had a severe and very rare allergic reaction to a radiation treatment for a benign thyroid tumor that has irreparably scarred her throat so she cannot eat/swallow at this time. Her hair all fell out at about 8 months, but it is back now. Like you, she has a terrific attitude about it all, which is half of the battle.
