The same dang thing happened with my band.  I could eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING a week before TOM, but the week of TOM, nothing would go down!  Guess, I can expect that with my sleeve too.

Oh well, we can try our best to the least damage possible!! Thanks!!

So let me ask you ladies...since you guys use the Peanut Flour...I use real peanut butter in my smoothies. I buy the all natural kind...do you know the difference nutritionally speaking?!? If the flour is better I would prefer to do that, but I have used the PB since way before my surgery.

Let me know what you think!! Thanks!!

the calories are WAY less, and still very decent on the protein.  It's a much healthier choice and tastes real good!

Oil of evening primrose helps me, I chart my cycle and about 15 days after the first day of my last cycle, I start taking it.

I am not sure that it helps with cravings, I just plan for that by having a lot of protein on hand, but um - keeps me outta jail and forks outta my beloved's eyes. :}

That is wonderful, and that is the way it should be!!  I was totally unprepared and didn't have a plan yesterday, and I saw where that left me.  UGH.  This was my first week back at work since I have been allowed to eat soft foods and soft proteins, so I haven't even stocked my desk with any emergency eating supplies....especially the ones that are NOT trigger foods.  Been there, done that.  Big mistake!!

I am a huge carb addict, but it's mostly the salty, crunchy kind.  I thought I would do myself a favor once and buy the individual size bags of Veggie Straws.  I think I blew through those in an hour.  (This was when I had my LapBand)....then I disicovered POP Chips.  They are great, but not if you are going to eat a big bag every single day.    Sheeesh, you would think I have an unhealthy relationship to food or something.

While this wave of hormones took me by surprise, I will do my best to plan for the next wave and come out the winner!!  Thanks!!
