Starting my quiting (smoking) savings plan!!

I needed to quit for pre-op coming up in about 7 weeks and I kept putting it off and putting it off. Well, I planned on last monday... I woke up feeling horrible, like I was really getting sick. I had about 3-4 on Monday just because I felt blah. Then Tuesday I had full blown strep throat. I like to call this God's way of helping me quit lol. Have not had a cigarette in 6 days! :)

I love the putting money away idea, but I already can see my bank account standing still rather than dwindling this past week.

Good for you on the quitting!! Sorry you had to get sick to do it though but whatever works, right??

I figure if I start out putting it in the savings I'm not going to be any worse off than what I am already. Of course knowing me I will start spending the money on other things so I'm not going to give myself the chance.
