weight loss question
Okay so I know everyone looses at different rates. I was told I'm doind good at my 2 week post op appt (18 day out). Also not to expect my loss to continue at this rate. I don't feel satisfied. Everyone that posts has had much more loss than I have. It worries me.
here's the issue: I went into surgery on 3/22/12 at 233 lbs & on 4/8/12 I was 219 lbs & still am. So I've had 14lb loss in 22days. Am I doing something wrong? I started thinking that at this rate & the slowing of loss I really prob. won't reach my goal of 140lbs.
Any suggestions??

It's actually amazing you didn't gain after surgery. Most people do. I had gained 5 pounds when I got home after surgery and it took a week to get that off. It's probably just fluid retention from swelling/IV fluids/anesthesia and all the stuff your body is going through. It's trying to catch up and reset. Just stay on plan and the scale will start to move again. Be sure you get all your water in....don't want to dehydrate...Good luck and know that this will pass. You are doing fine. Not to worry...(I know, easier said than done) (((Hugs!)))
