OMG - i never knew...
That gas pains could make me want to die as much as they do right now. It's worse than immediately post op.
I started on a RX laxative last week because of my chronic constipation and acid reflux issues associated with it...and instead of making me go, it just causes the worse gas and bloating ive ever suffered through.
I was in the middle of tennis practice when I almost wanted to call an ambulance because I couldn't stand up straight from the pain.
SIGHHH....life isnt supposed to be this difficult is it.....I just want to be normal!

so sorry !! Wish I had a great solution. I had lived life with chronic runs from colitis. While the rest of wls patients suffer from constipation....I am blessed to be closer to normal now !
gas pain...try gas x -- I use it for the great dane and it works great !!!
Call the darn doctor and have them find something that won't incapacitate you !!!

High Wt 300 lbs. Pre-op Wt loss 34 lbs. Ive been taking the maximum recommended dose of ultra strength gas-ex, and then plus some just to combat the side effets of this useless rx. I'd rather just deal with the constipation by itself at this point.
Trust me - you don't want to have lunch me now!!! I just started a week long trial but maybe the end of next week when I'm done. Im thinking a margarita at lunch (made with gas ex haha).

I have lymphedema which makes my stomach hang down...well that along with being overweight...and I have found that the stress of my stomach hanging makes the gas pains worse so I put a pillow under my hanging stomach and sit up with legs up and it relieves the pressure and allows the gas to pass and helps me go to the bathroom as well....you could try it....good luck!!
