Does your sleeve react to nerves, anger, sadness, etc.?

Oh my goodness, getting too low in weight.......don't know if that could ever be me! Ha ha!

So, it sounds like my stomach might do this to me again.....time will tell.  Thanks, for the input!

Nope, I had it with my band, but my sleeve does not change during emotional upset like my band used to. I DO feel a diffrence if I get dehydrated, but that is the only time my restriction changes.

Ah, yes....dehydration.  The band really strangled my stoma when I was a bit dehydrated.

Whoa - that's an interesting question!  I thought I was just a bit nutty (which still might be the case), but when I am stressed out, I find that my restriction is much tighter.  I can barely eat one bite sometimes if I am really stressed.

Thank goodness it isn't the other way around (less restriction when stressed).  It's a good time to have serious restriction as far as I'm concerned!

Nutshell:

Lost 140 lbs with VSG. (Hooray!!)

got pregnant  (yeaaaa!)

got cancer (boooo!)

regained 40 lbs.   (grrrr!)

In summary: Alive & Grateful.

Yes, it's a good time, I will just have to stay away from sliders, if it happens to me.  Thanks for telling me your experiences!

no,my sleeve is the same with emotional issues. It seems to have more restriction first thing in the am and if I am sick, with a virus or flu...it is very tight and is tight for several days after.

In fact,if I am having an emotional issue and my head is screaming more, and I try to listen to my head and put more in,sleevie says...uh uh not in here you don't and I can't keep eating. consequently,my head is getting more and more quiet as time goes on. Fool thing stops talking when nobody is listening to it,yannow?

edited to change "can keep eating..." to "can't keep eating..."
