* does the protein i ate count towards my protein count for the day if i threw up 20 minutes after i ate it?

* if not, should i add in another meal/snack to add more protein for the day?

as far as the throwing up, seems like my stomach just doesn't like new things.  tried deli ham rolled up with a small thin slice of mozzarella and a thin slice of tomato.  ate two of those roll ups.  just didn't agree with me.

I am so sorry for you.  I couldn't eat tomatoes until month 3 and then it was in small quantities.  It's different with everyone, I know.  But I had to learn the hard way to eat slow, small bites and eat slow, small bites and no tomatoes for me!

After I ah... upchuck... and my tummy calms down, I have a protein drink.

Hang in there!!

MIGHT have been the acid in the tomato...

Think of your new tiny tummy like a new born baby.  BLAND food for awhile.

Are you eating too much?  Too fast?  Too large a bite (that was the one I was doing without realizing it at firs).
I found that it was trial and error for what foods agreed with me and which ones didn't - VERY frustrating but there's nothing you can do about it, but keep trying.
It WILL get better, trust me!

not really sure what is going on with my stomach, just doesn't want certain things i guess.
my bites were small and i did chew chew chew but guess my stomach didn't want it.

I would not count the protein in something I threw up. If you throw it up,it is not in your stomach to be processed,so no,you can't count it and yes I would try to add something else in because you didn't get the protein from the food you threw up.
