Question 5 days post op

 Just wondering, how am I supposed to get in my vitamin and calcium chews if I am 5 days post op on liquid diet?

My doc had me wait 15 days before starting vites as they can make you feel sick to your stomach. If they are chewable, and don't make you nauseous.. then you can take them (if ok'd by your Dr.) Chewables break down into nothing but liquids if you chew them well before swallowing :)

The same as above. My Doctor was not to concerned about vitamins in the begining I waited a couple weeks before I started them. They can be pretty rough on your body so my advise is
just drink drink drink and when you go for your first post op visit ask then.

 I drink mine.  Started them as soon as I got home from the hospital.  Mixing the powder with water also counts toward my water goals each day.  I already have 3 glasses of water before I even eat breakfast and all my vitamins are done for the day.  I love this stuff.  I would go nuts trying to worry about taking pills all day long at different times of the day.  This makes it so easy!

Ever since the 2nd week I've been eating the chewable calcium chews.  I've been fine with them, and I'm 3 1/2 weeks out.

Highest/Surgery Weight 230 Goal Weight 140 Current Weight 190
Starting BMI 36.6 Current BMI 28
My height is 5'7.
