40F. Alot of people here think the smaller your bougie is, the better results you'll have long term. I believe if you're commited to losing weight and maintaining that weight you'll be successful. Try not to get caught up in all that. I used to get depressed when people would post studies and feel like my surgery was a waste. But look at my stats. I'm losing and feel great! Good luck to you!!

It's the diameter of the tube they stick down your throat to make sure your new sleeved stomach is a certain size. They measure around the tube....then make their cuts.
It's not that simple and there is a lot of individuality to it. That is why you need to pick your surgeon carefully.
Your commitment to a lifestyle change post-op makes much more difference than your bougie size.
Mine was 36.
