I already have some loose skin after losing what I did previously, so I've already come to grips with the fact that I'm going to look like a deflated balloon for the rest of my life. At least you can hide that under clothes, obesity? Notsomuch.

The sleeve or the bypass it really doesn't matter which procedure you have in regards to excess skin. I've seen people lose it naturally and are left with lots of leftover skin. It's a thing of pro's versus cons. I know I will have some stretched skin when I hit goal. And unfortunately, you most likely will have some. The question is how much? Also, you don't have to go to the extreme lengths they did. I personally would have just gotten a tummy tuck and dealt with some of the excess skin elsewhere. The stomach is the only place that I will get any plastric surgery done IF I decide to get it. I already know I'm going to have some and as long as it isn't bad, I will probably be ok. If it's really bad, the farthest I will go is a tummy tuck. Those circumfrential body lifts are too extreme for me. I wouldn't want to deal with all of the recovery! That is just my personal opinion on it.

I had loose skin when I lost weight from extreme weighlifting, cardio, and diet. The method of weightloss doesn't matter if you are just prone to have the extra skin, you will have it.  I've seen bigger people lose weight and have better arms than me. When I was 350+ pounds, I stood next to a woman who at least 500+ pounds. She was wearing a sleeveless shirt and her arms were smaller than mine.  Such is life.

I saw the show and was disgusted. And you know what?  I'll still have the surgery when its time, at the very least, on my arms and breasts.

In the meantime, I'm going to focus on my weightloss. I feel great. I look great. Period.

You can be 'super worried' about what you can't do anything about or focus on what you can. One makes you crazy, and the other makes you productive.
