I can't do laser because I'm a natural blonde.  Laser doesn't work on hair that isn't dark.  :(  Bummer for me.

I do electrolysis on my face and that is super expensive.  That is really the only permanent hair removal option us blondies have.

I second that on the lazer, just had my first treatment a few weeks ago. Awesome results!

I couldn't get the laser, I went in for a consult and they told me because I was tanning that I couldn't have it done and I had no intentions of stopping tanning when the laser wouldn't work right away. I have looked at the NO NO's and a silk n epi something laser to buy for my own usage but still with the tanning it is a no I guess so had to resort to waxing. They said I wouldn't be able to tan for a period of time afterwards as well.

That's because the laser is attracted to darker pigments. I had to stop doing treatments after I came home from Jamaica until it faded. It's completely worth it. You notice a huge difference each time you go.

When I got down to a near normal weight from my LapBand, I did the same thing.  Loved it!!  I will treat myself again after losing with the sleeve! Can't wait!  Good for you, and enjoy!

OK, I told myself I wouldn't say anthing, but after reading all these responses I can't stop myself.  Is this a generational thing?  Because I just don't get it.  I'm so relieved I got out of the dating scene before this practice became the new social norm.  Don't get me wrong, I know it's just a personal preference.  But OUCH!

LoL, Happy! Yeah, it pretty much is a generational thing. Working in women's health for years, I saw more ladies without pubic hair vs people who did.

I get razor burns sometimes and want to prevent that for my vacation that is why I did the wax. Probably won't get into a habit and would love the laser because it is almost a permanent result thing after lots of treatment. Very expensive though to get to that point.

Oh and definitely nothing to do with dating lol, just like I said it is razor burns is the reason for me and hopefully will slow down the regrowth for a couple of weeks. Laser actually can stop the hair growth but too expensive for me right now, and not gonna stop tanning until next fall and that is a nono for laser treatment.

Thanks for boosting my confidence -- I think I'm going to buy a laser package as an almost to goal weight present.
