Wow you look fantastic! That's awesome that you and your hubby can help each other along the way for support. I bet the grocery bill has gotten alot cheaper, lol! I know mine has with just myself eating alot less. Congrats again, can't wait to hear about more of your success in the future!

Yes our grocery bill has slightly gone done however before we could eat cheap stuff like Mac n' cheese and Hamburger helper. Now we buy "less" but of the healthier food so it comes out about even... Plus we still have to buy for our three teenage girls (and boy can they EAT! hehe)

Wow, You and your hubby are doing wonderful! I also have UC and i hope loosing weight will help mine as well. I have UC but mine is at the lower end of the colon, which they call proctitis.

it is great to find a fellow UC'er! From my experience loosing weight seems to helps alot... however my Dr. says I am weird as my he has only seen 1 other patient that has the same symptoms as I do... in fact it took over 2 years before I was diagnosed because my symptoms kept my GI doctor thinking I had something else. It took a few biopsies before they figured everything out.
