Wooo Hoooo!!! I got my date!!! I will be able to have my band taken out and get sleeved on April 3rd!! So excited!!

My son was debating the vertical sleeve vs RNY, can you share your reasons for chosing the sleeve.

For me, I think it will be an easier revision since my stomach will have a lot of scar tissue from the band. I have heard many great things about the sleeve. Most of the reccomendations I get are from former bandsters....and they are thrilled.

I think RNY is great, also....I am not sure which I would choose, had I never been banded. Hope he finds the right WLS for him!!

I have had my band for a little over 4 years, 2 years out I had to have surgery to fix a slip,,,,,but the same band,

Exciting! I am really happy for you! I am also considering getting the VSG! I fear RNY and would like to have something more permanent. So far, no problems with my LapBand, but I hate to push the limits.

You're very fortunate! April 3rd is almost here!
