Almost 11 hours from my first post and can say definitely better than the last two day, got a lot of good sleep last night, and have stayed awake much of the day,  cutting back on the narcotic pain meds and trying to work with acetaminophen and frequent ice packs to my belly.  helped alot, and being able to drink my own clear liquids and not the hospital version. Tomorrow can only be better.

Hi Jo, mine was the same day. I only stayed 1 night in the hospital. I'm not in healthcare field but I am also the worse patient...I don't like to have others do for me...but I am most definitely humbled with my wonderful husband carrying my slack here lately. Anyway, I did have nausea while in hospital and I realized it was tied to when I hit my Lortab pump...one time I thought I would puke but Thank God I did'n't. Getting home for me was the best because I was able to take a shower and finally rest in my bed. Made all the difference. Been sipping and walking a lot. Today I was the most awake, active, and the most I was able to take in. Every day is better, so take it easy and it will come. Definitely take your pain meds. As the days have progressed, my need for the meds has decreased as well, but I am still taking them.
