Hi from Tacoma! I'm not familiar with your doctor either, but thought I'd stop by and say hello!

who was your surgeon? i find it very weird that i am not finding more patients of dr hanafy's but thats ok so what is your story??

I see Dr. Srikanth in Federal Way. He is a wonderful doctor. I've got one more month to go to complete my 6 month required program..hope to have surgery the end of April, early May.

I went to a weight loss seminar and liked Dr. S right away. I know another doctor in Federal Way moved, so I'm not too familiar with other doctors around the area. With your posting, hopefully you may hear from more of your doctors patients.

Does he have a website or patient testimonies?

Spokane here. Biscuit, there are only two bariatric choices up here, Rockwood in Spokane has three docs, and Post Falls, ID has Dr Pennings. Both are good choices, though neither group has done very many sleeves. The Post Falls group has a weekly support meeting, but there is a cost. My surgeon was in Mx, so I just follow up with my internist. Good luck.

Im from Washington. I did not have surgery with Dr. Hanafy. I went with Dr. Landerholm at Puget Sound Surgical Center. Good luck and let me know if you need anything :)

I'm in Washington, a little north of Seattle on Camano Island.  I had Dr. Srikanth, who also works out of Kirkland.  He was very personable and caring and did an exceptional job!  At 3 months out I'm two pounds away from my half way point.  I'm working toward running again, but it will be awhile before I think of even a 5k, let alone a marathon!  Right now I'm lucky if I can jog for two or three minutes!!  But it will come.  I also have to go slowly because of my knees.  Don't want to re-injure them.

   Dr. Hanafy did my VSG on 1/9/2012. I live in Yakima but since they don't perform gastric surgery in the area I was sent to Kent for the procedure. Let me know if you have any questions.
 

I live in Olympia and both my husband and I went to Dr. Billing in Edmonds at Puget Sound Surgery Center. We had the best service!
