gummy vitamins?
My husband, who has had his vsg, takes the regular flintstone chewables (not gummies). His labs have been great.
Edit: he also takes calcium and vitamin d. I think he has been using the viactiv calcium (some here have said those are no good, but they seem to work fine for him) and just whatever vitamin d he can pick up at wal mart.

I get MVI gummies at wal-mart. I have looked at other MVI as I do not have problems swallowing pills, but I notice they contain both iron and calcium...can't figure that one out if calcium inhibits iron absorption.
My regimen is MVI twice a day, Calcium 3 times a day (need atlease 1500mg calcium), iron once a day(2 hours apart from any calcium/milk product) and nascobol once a week.
I go this week for 6wk postop visit so I will feel better after I see how my labs are.

I use Centrum Chewables they are complete including iron - they are decent tasting like a cream sickle - not as good as vita fusion etc but better than the bariatric multivitamin. I take vitamin B12 from SAMs club - they are a generic brand 2500 that dissolve under your tongue and have a great cherry flavor...now I take a lot of B12 because I find it gives me a lot of energy and the dietitian approved it - however they also come in a lower dosage (500 or 1000 recommended in your packet) at Sams and are cheaper than the B12's I have bought at Vitamin world and GNC. I agree with you that the bariatric multi's are really chalky tasting, I have tried the cinnamon and was disappointed, however, their calCium citrate chews are awesome tasting - I have them in caramel, chocolate, lemon and raspberry!! To cut the cost down a little I also bought calcium citrate Chewables from Unjury which taste awesome as well - they are orange flavor but not nearly as chalky as the bariatric advantage multi's...also, when you order from unjury I highly recommend buying the starter packets of all the Ir protein flavored (including their unflavored) - they are all awesome tastiNg too - especially their chicken soup one - I learned about it from someone Else on this forum and wished I ordered sooner! With the starter kit they also Send you a packet of recipe ideas for all their protein flavors for bariatric surgery liquid/ MoosHy stages!!
