how soon was your date after the ok

When I had my lapband put in I got approved at the beginning of July, surgery wasn't till October 4th. It must just be my surgeon though, because I knew of other people using the same office, different surgeon and their's were only a month out.

Revised from band to sleeve on June 6th, 2012. Lost 48 pounds on my own in the 4 months prior to revision.

Def varies from surgeon to surgeon. Once they submitted all my paperwork to the insurance for approval they gave me a tentative date for 4 weeks out. It took the insurance 3 weeks to fully approve me. So once I got my FULL approval I had my surgery the next week.
