Need vitamin help!!
Hi VSGers!!
Can't get the hang of thisvitamin thing. I'm horrible at taking pills on a regular basis, which is actually one of the reasons I chose VSG over DS and GB...I was initially taking Celebrate Vitamins, but the the multi started making me sick. I started a gummy multi and that seems to be working well, or at least I will find out when I have my labs done. I am taking still the Celebrate calcium chewable however, I just realized I should have been taking 3 a day instead of the 1 I have been taking. So any suggestions on getting in my required vitamins in as few pills/doses as possible? Also, I have a hard time swallowing large pills so chewable or smaller pills work best for me.

NutraMetrix is the best thing I have found. It is a powder that you mix in with water and it fizzles as it breaks it down into a liquid form of vitamins that is MUCH more easily absorbed by the body then pills are that your body has to break down on its own. It doesn't taste bad either.
I take the Isotonix Multivitamin with Iron, mixed with Isotonix Calcium Complete (with Vit D) and then in a few days (when I'm 4 weeks out) I will start taking the Isotonix OPC-3 as well. I do the once a month Vit B12 shot.
This is a once a day liquid and it covers everything. No need to keep taking pills throughout the day or chewing on anything.
