My favorite protein shake

 For those that can handle carbs

- 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk (35 cal/cup)
- 1/2 frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup frozen blackberries
- scoop of vanilla protein powder
-2 packs of artificial sweetner

I blend it, and it comes out like a jamba juice smoothie (and tastes like one!)

I'll also make my protein coffee with almond milk, coffee, SF choc syrup, and ice and blend it up and it's like a starbucks frapacino drink. 

I wouldn't recommend drinking these if you are a new pre-op, but if you absolutely can't find a shake you like - these are the best treats ive had!!!  I'm making popsicles out of them tonight.

 Sounds good! I have some extra frozen fruit in the freezer, I think I'll try this but use strawberry protein mix (and maybe a drop of vanilla). Also I do a variation on the coffee drink everday myself. Instead of chocolate syrup I use chocolate protein mix, no ice, and mix it in a shaker. Tastes just like a bottled frappaccino.

Also - any yummo shake recipe that you love can be blended as usual and then thrown in an ice cream maker (I use the Cuisinart) for delicious and legal ice cream treats! (You may need to increase sweetener a tad as freezing reduces the sweetness.)
