TIF procedure

It's not a particularly new procedure, but I don't find a lot of information on the search here with regard to having it done before VSG. Until my surgeon brought it up to me it's not something I realized could go in conjunction with the sleeve to help with the reflux that that the sleeve is so known for. If I understand correctly, it can't be done after the VSG.
He'll do my endoscopy sometime in the next two weeks, then I'll need to decide if I want this first. If I do, I'll need to wait 2 more weeks after this procedure before he'll do the sleeve.
He made it sound like an idea worth considering to possibly reduce reliance on PPI's post VSG.
