Food of the Debil
Mayo...omg! i thought I was gonna die, i wished I could die. But no i got to suffer for 2 hours with nausea and couldnt go puke it up ('believe me I tried... nada just lots of drool... gross). So what happened was that I pureed some absolutely deeeevine italian beef from the deli in a little mayo. It was right around a 1/4 cup and should not have been a big deal since i had no issues with it with the greek yogurt. um yeah mayo is now the food of the Debil in this house. Honey will have to eat it all himself. i am back to my greek yogurt as my go to for making things slippery enough for my tummy. I coud barey stand the taste and i don't know why i went ahead and ate it but I did. Lesson learned: if Milady Sleeve doesn't like the first bite we are not finishing it no matter what. it is Debil food and we want none of it.
Secondly, all of a sudden my protein shakes are upsetting my stomach. i make them pretty much the same way all the time (yes i know im boring), 16 ounces of coconut milk, 2 scoops of protein, a shot or 2 of SF Torani syrup. Now i get about 1/3 of the way through that shake and I am rcing for the nearest ladies room. Wtf? I can't go without my shakes because i can tell from my food log that I am not getting enough protein from my meals yet. I can't do soy as it makes me so sick. This is not a good thing. I am finishing off the protein powder i have now and hopefuly will be able to find something else that's not going to upset my tummy before I go back to work. Unfortunately i don't see any of my docs until the 1st of March at this point which puts me back at work for a week so i am a tad frustrated.

I was also sleeved 1/26/12! I also have had a few bad days lately. Although I only had nausea the first 12 hours postop, last Friday I started having headaches, nausea and lightheadedness. Finally figured I was somewhat dehydrated but drinking made me more nauseated. Also stArted having prob swallowing foods I thought would go down easily. I cannot eat scrambled eggs but I can eat beef jerky. Volume wise I can eat about 1 to 1 1/2 oz meat I have found that lunch meat and cheese work pretty well.

I would try mixing your protein with water and ice. If that goes fine then the problem is probably the coconut milk. If not, then it the protein, right? I mix vanilla protein w/water, some lower sugar juice, and stir with ice because the milk just feels to heavy on my stomach.
