Happy, happy, happy!!

I LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!

Had to get that out there right away!  My first exciting thing this week was a trip to my PCP (no biggie) and finding out that, without meds, my blood pressure was 118/73!!  8 weeks ago, without meds, it was 196/110 so what a difference 43 pounds makes!  I was so excited, I was giddy!! :)

Then today, saw that Fashion Bug was having a big clearance sale so thought, "What the heck, wonder what I might find?!"  Needless to say, I was giggling like a school girl in the dressing room, as I bought size 18/20 pants and 2X dresses - I am a former 26/28 and overflowed out of 3X dresses!  I am so happy and grateful right now, I can hardly stand myself!  Seeing my reflection in the mirror more than makes up for the first week-10 days of this journey.

 Congrats and thanks for posting! My surgery is in two weeks. I am more excited than nervous, but still that thought in the back of my mind keeps saying "are you sure you really need to this" 

Congrates! I can't wait to be where you are...no more meds for high blood pressure and fitting into size 18/20...I am 22/26 now. Still waiting for insurance approval

Woohoo!! Congrats...you are doing really well! I just recently went shopping as well and it does feel great to see yourself shrinking!! Keep up the excellent job!!

I was in Fashion Bug yesterday also........I'm in between regular size and plus size.  So tempted to buy the regular size 16 pants but I didn't because I'm going to definitely hit the goodwill today.

All I can say is, this is so worth the effort!

I will be hitting Goodwill soon just couldn't resist those "Clearance" signs - got some warm up pants for $2.99!!  I'm pretty cheap, though, so the thrift stores are my next stop :)
